To measure an individuals psychic abilities there are numerous telepathy test available. However, there is an element of luck in many of these tests. But over a period of time and many trials, the results will show your telepathic abilities. And alleviate any guessing as to your ability.

The simpler telepathy test has been developed to see if you have any ability as a psychic. Many other tests are to measure the range of your strength in this skill.

By keeping in mind telepathy, as well as ESP, precognition, clairvoyance are all inclusive in the telepathic skill-set and when one of these skills is developed it can also lead to increasing the other telepathic powers as well.

These exercises help your accessing other aspects of telepathic skills and your psychic, developing the section of your mind responsible for these skills.

No matter how little telepathic or psychic ability you have right now, it is possible to develop your talent further, both in strength and range. However, it’s hard to know where you need improvement unless you use a telepathy test to indicate your current skills.

Solo Telepathy Test

One quick way to test your telepathy skills is to predict who’s calling when the phone rings. Do not look at your caller ID, if you have one. Before you answer the call take a moment to concentrate and think about who may want to talk to you.

Before you answer the phone make a good guess. You can do this for the next several calls you get and write down the results. With this test you can get an idea of the level of your telepathic ability.

Many people have reported knowing they knew who it was before they answered the phone. This is, however, on a unconscious level. You can learn to take this ability and focus on it, consciously, over time.

Quick Psychic Test

It is sometimes a possibility, with a prop like a coin, to test your psychic ability. A quiet spot is important to find, before you sit and begin to test for your possible skills in this area. Complete quiet, without any distracting noises like any sudden sounds, TV’s and the such.

Relax and clear your mind by taking a little time to exercise. Do deep breathing, this will help to relax you. After this you take a coin and toss it in the air and predict which side it will land on. Heads or tails. Mark your results after several attempts.

Obviously, you have a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly, but any score above 50% could show that you have a definite psychic ability that can be further developed.

One Basic Telepathy Test

The simplest form of a telepathy test, perhaps, is the card test. And is best performed with two people with a set of psychic flash cards.

The location should be quiet, without interruptions, where you both can sit and face each other and concentrate. One person will be the sender and the other person will be the receiver. The sender needs to keep the cards away from the receivers view and then send an image of the card, that he is looking at, to the receiver.

Practice, quit a bit of it, is required for the sender to concentrate and focus on the image being sent to the receiver.

The receiver needs to concentrate on images or impressions they may see in their mind’s eye. Do not try to second guess what you see. First impressions are what you should say as they come into your mind.

Write your responses down for the entire set of flash cards. Be sure to take into consideration the element of luck. There will be responses that may be a lucky guess. A high level of correct answers may indicate possible latent psychic abilities. These could be developed over time.

Also, this particular type of test is not always best to use as a telepathy test. Your partner (sender) may not be strong in his psychic abilities and this may result in his sending weak images and can mess up your results.

Here is an Intermediate Telepathy Test

Once you notice your results beginning to improve with the basic telepathy test, you should increase your range a little. The easiest way to do this would be to conduct the basic telepathy card test, but sit in separate rooms and use a speaker phone or baby monitor or any other device where you can verify what images the receiving person sees.

Once again, this step could take a little practice and patients, as it’s often more difficult to send images telepathically over a longer distance, but it’s also a little harder to pick up images with the chance of distraction interfering with results.

When you try to understand telepathy it all starts when one person transfers their thoughts and emotions to another person. The definition commonly known is that telepathy is a term for the feelings over a distance.

It is widely thought that telepathy is communication through another paralleled thought plane. It is known that most animals use some form of telepathy in communicating within their herds or with other herds of the same species. I am sure we have all heard the instances of people who are just getting ready to board a flight for a planned trip, just to get a weird feeling and then decided to not to get on the plane. When they get home there are news stories of the flight they were about to take being in a bad crash with few survivors. Did that person who chose not to fly have a telepathic insight? What made them decide not to fly that day? Some might say it is a survival instinct that we all have. Others will say it was a telepathic intuition that made them feel the danger ahead and that is what made them falter and not get on the plane.

Telepathy nowadays may have been ignored perhaps because of the religious philosophies. Since most of the religious beliefs do not accept the philosophy of telepathy, its existence was not given much importance. Most religions would even associate telepathy to dark powers and evil cultures which force people to refrain from developing mental communication.

It may be that as the world population grew, our need for telepathy began to wane as our survival was not dependent upon it and putting this sense on to a higher power made more sense at the time.

Some may argue that it is the other way around, that because of organized religion, that we have put telepathy onto holy leaders as opposed to an inherent trait. This is because some religious leaders have led, their flocks to believe that telepathy is a tool of the devil. This is a great way for the masses to ignore and eventually lose their telepathic ability.

Another problem modern day man has with telepathy is that telepathy can not easily be studied by traditional science. Most scientists have the thoughts that if it is not something that can be studied or tore apart and put back together that it can not be a true ability. Some scientists do agree that instinct does exist within humans and the animal kingdom however.

Instead you will find that we classify telepathic experiences as connections and instincts. We believe this is true only because those scientists, who try to bring the negative side to it, can’t experience it themselves. However, they’re always quick to acknowledge a strange or gut feeling as an instinct. While this wouldn’t normally be a big deal, it’s hard to understand considering these traits are just as elusive as telepathy.

Perhaps there is an envy entailed with the issue of telepathy because scientists would prefer to ignore its existence and sometimes they even describe it as plain instinct.

This mystery may never be solved, but there are definitely different scenarios that could be true. Another version dates back to biblical times when the Tower of Babylon story came around. Even though the languages were brought about to migrate people, it could be the same for telepathy. Hopefully some day we’ll get a definitive answer.
