Hypnosis … working to stop bad habits and do self-hypnosis (CD) works so well?

I'm looking to quit smoking and really I want to succeed. Looking for hypnosis in addition to the patches. If I use hypnosis I want to know if work of the Conference as well as traditional sessions. I prefer to listen those who have personally used hypnosis to quit bad habits or those trained to deal with such habits.

I used hypnosis to quit smoking 15 years ago and have been smoke free since. The follow-up sessions were not necessary. The treatment only works if you're ready to quit. Moreover, I used a big rubber band on my wrist to tell me not to smoke. When I smoke, I would take the tape and let my wrist snap inside. Nothing like a little aversion therapy to help you remember.
