conversion disorder hypnosis
Conversion disorder?
My neurologist has diagnosed me a conversion disorder. In conversion disorder, physical symptoms are caused by psychological conflicts become unwittingly resemble a neurological disorder. I have many physical symptoms. All my symptoms are and go. My left hand has cerebral (and beyond), I have tingling in my hands and feet, my head and a turtleneck as dystonia, my hands and feet terry, Twitch and shake. They have tons of tests, including MRIs and all that comes out normal. I had a shock, but its hard to believe that childhood my mind would be free to exercise in this way, but I suppose it's possible. He recommended that I see a neuropsychiatrist who work with hypnosis to help the situation.
The effects of childhood trauma manifests itself in many ways. See a Neuropsych is an excellent idea. If he / she uses hypnosis and other therapeutic technique is good take. Different modes of therapy work for different people. The Neuropsych is preferable to a psychologist, because it's like a second opinion on the conclusions of Neuro. Depending of how it goes, you may wish ultimately to another view. But for now, because all tests were negative, conversion disorder is an assumption reasonable. Good luck!
